Nov 2012 - 002 Somewhere in the Mountains

Somewhere in the Mountains

Driving in the Sanhyadri Mountains many times we come across such passes. Where it narrows a bit and as you pass this the landscape just open up all its vastness. The actual pass is sometimes lit up gloriously with sunlight and the other times its in cool shadow. Sometimes it is just hard black rock and the other it is covered with green grass. Sometimes small trees with colourful flowers are shooting up and the other its just plain simple mud.
The pass here depicts all the above and feels like the landscape is about to open up as soon as we pass it. Come lets walk......

Nov 2012 - 001 Natures Play

Natures play

I am just dumbstruck many many times when I see the "Natures Play". The vast Mountains, The Extensive Sea and The Beautiful Sky. I just love watching the sky.... seeing the clouds play with each other... mix into each other sometimes and sometimes just drift away. Sometimes just spilling out and the other getting together to make a huge scary stormy sky.
All in all the Nature makes me happy... Here I tried to just drift away with colours and this happened.

Oct 2012 - 10

A calm, cool and pleasant Evening. The Sun is soothing the earth with its last rays, as if saying good bye with an assurance of meeting the next day.
At this moment the peace is just beautiful. Sitting below a tree and just taking in the Peace, the Beauty of Mother Nature. Enjoying every leaf, every twig and every blade of grass. The breeze that passes on me, the clouds which merrily dance in the sky. Everything is just so perfect, just so calm.

Painting this scene put me in such a state. Loved every moment of it as if I was there enjoying the scenery, taking it in, living it.

Hope you get that feeling too.

Support

My Heart goes out for the Kids who have to work. I am absolutely devastated when I see such scenes. And am more than devastated by the feeling that I cannot do a thing.
The other day while walking in the city a small girl approached me. One hand asking for some money and the other small hand clutching a big hunter. After some time she used to swing it around her body in such a way that it would make a noise. I know there is some trick in it and usually it does not hurt. But I am sure while learning it the small one must have had some stings.
And now even though the stings of the hunter might have seized but the stings of the empty stomach, the stings of roaming in the sun, the rains and the cold and the stings of life.... still remain and loom large over this small life.
Hope she gets all the support she needs and deserves.

Order Completion

Every day after completing the house hold duties early in the morning The Lady sits just outside her modest home in Pune and gets on with it. First she has to cut out small, flat strips out of the bamboo. Then she starts weaving it carefully and beautifully to make various articles. Its wonderful to see the way her fingers move. Many times we are not able to notice the joints. Its amazing.
Small and sharp wood filings sting in the hands causing pain and irritation. I asked them how they remove it, got a reply with a needle......
