The Rock

Water Colour on Paper 10" x 14"

Walking in the woods one feels from where all of a sudden such a huge thing has appeared.... What happened out here many many centuries ago.... Something surely must have .... right?
Still it blends in the current settings so beautifully and also the surrounding has accepted this thing as one of their own....
If  only we Humans act in such selfless way..... our Earth will also be as beautiful as this....

Professional Series - Tired

Water Colour on Paper - 21" x 14.5"
So many people around us just "have to" slog it every day, no matter what their state is. Whether they are not feeling well or their family member, they simply have to work because that is what will provide them the food, that too once a day, maybe.
When I see such people and when I think about such people my heart goes out for them.
Dedicated to all those simple people.
Just what this balloon vendor might be thinking after a long hectic day. Maybe he can just work a bit more and get some good deals going so that his family might have a full meal today?
Or is he just taking a break and giving his legs some rest after a fruitful day? Maybe he is thinking let me rest a while and work more in the evening and save up a bit for my child's education?
Lets hope all his efforts are paid off and he and his family start to see the brighter side...

Professional Series - Fire Fighters

Water Colour on Paper - 11" x 16"
We take some professions for granted that ..... they will be there... Fire Fighters, Police, Ambulance service personnel ... to name a few.
We seldom fail to realize that all of them are also normal human beings like all of us. They also have families to care for, bills to pay every month and care and think about the future of their little ones. They all also may have ailments and hospital visits and ofcourse bills to pay. None of them are SUPERMEN but they carry our SUPER HUMAN activities when needed.

Dedication to Fire Fighters - their duty is to put their life in danger and save OUR life.

Two friends walking together in line of duty and as if one is saying to the other.... "I'll watch your back mate.... not to worry..... We will come out of this alive"
Thank You Gentlemen

Professional Series - Football

Water Colour on Paper - 14" x 10"
We usually tend to see just the signing amounts of these players.... The training, hardships, dedication and efforts to reach at this level are usually neglected.
Any aspiring sports person HAS to give more than 100% in the early... struggling years and keep up to that level till he plays. Even at 99% there are chances that he may have to sit out as just a spectator.

My small dedication to all who are associated to this fantastic and energetic Sport world over.

Mount Baker

Water Colour on paper - 14" x 10"
Tried to capture the glory of Mount Baker one gorgeous morning. I worked on this piece from a photo taken by my Aunt, and I must say that the photo is better than this panting ;-)
I feel here the "glory is missing and will be working on another piece and one more piece and one more piece if required to get that feeling.

This is the view from my Aunt and Uncles home.
Whenever I go to their place I love to stand on the patio and just gaze. I just keep watching this scene and always feel sooooo peaceful.....

Guess the Season?

Water colour on Paper
10" x 14"

After a stay of about 2 years in St Louis, MO, USA. I came back to India in 2009.
During that stay I was fortunate enough to experience America as a whole. The people, food and seasons. Everything mesmerized me, from the size of the buildings to the expanse of the land, from the huge corporations to the small businesses, from the elite class of people who you only see on the TV to the kind people who are eager to help you, from the warmth to Florida to the cooooold of Montana. It was an amazing experience very close to my heart.

On one winter afternoon here in India, I became nostalgic and painted this wintery scene quite common in the US...

Buddh International Circuit

The Buddh International Circuit was built at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Very close to the Capital of India, New Delhi, it hosted the FIRST ever Formula One Grand Prix on the 30th October 2011.
The event was a great success as people thronged to witness the first ever roar of a Formula One event in India. The governing body, the teams and most importantly the Drivers were all very impressed with the circuit as a whole. So much so that The Buddh International Circuit has been awarded the '2011 Motorsport Facility of the Year' award

Designed by Hermann Tilke, this circuit is owned by Jaypee Group. Track length is 5.137 kms and has 16 turns.

Sabastian Vettel, Red Bull Racing won the First ever Indian Grand Prix and was all praise to the circuit as well as the Indian culture.

Here I have tried to capture the atmosphere and the excitement at the Start of the race.
