Nov 2012 - 014 Stone Age

Stone age.... Study
Water colour on paper

Stones and rocks .... always a very interesting subject to observe, to paint. Seems each one has an identity, features of its own and sometimes I also feel that they have their own distinct personality too.

Nov 2012 - 013 Seasons a Study

Seasons
Water colour on paper

Changes in Seasons.... Year after years..... Still something is new always.... Something is beautiful.... always. Mother Nature never ever comes up with something ugly.... Everything is always beautiful.... whatever it is.

A small study to depict 2 seasons on the same spot...

Nov 2012 - 012 Tranquil

Tranquil
Water colour on paper

A warm afternoon... The Sun just about starting its way down... The air is warm still but sometimes it brings in a bit of cold breeze.
Just the right time to maybe..... just sit in the cool shade of the Banyan tree...... or take a dip in the water ..... or just walk around the banks. Do anything but be sure you will feel peaceful..... energetic again... The healing powers of Mother Nature.

Nov 2012 - 006 Diwali Pahat

Diwali Pahat
Water colour on paper

Diwali ..... a beautiful festival. The festival of lights. The festival depicting the victory of Good over Evil. the festival bringing families, communities and even religions closer.

Lanterns are lit in every house. There are fire crackers bursting everywhere. The whole atmosphere is divine as if the Gods are also taking part in the celebrations on Earth.

Here tried to get in the Divine atmosphere going... :-) Just tried.... cos Divine is always Divine and therefore can be felt only... :-)

Nov 2012 - 003 Soothing

Soothing
Oil Painting on Canvas

This is a Commission job done for one of my Friend. She wanted something on her wall which would take her away from the daily grind of life. Something which would bring about a certain calmness in the mind and soothing feeling in the heart.
Hope I have able to achieve that.
