Water Colour on Paper 9.5" x 14"
An evening... alone on hat hut of mine somewhere in the mountains.
Thinking about nothing...  admiring the beauty of nature ... of life.
Planning to do nothing, go no-where.
Just an eve spent with ME.

Pouring

Water Colour on paper 9.5" x 14"
God blesses us in so many ways. Sometimes you actually see them coming. I did :-)

Splash

Water Colour on paper 9.5" x 14"
As always, I have to do a sea scape after some time. As if the sea calls me and since I cannot go on the coast I paint :-)
Nothing more beautiful than a Splashing sea wave. How wonderful it feels just to observe. I remember once in Goa I had sat for more than a couple of hours on the beach just watching this display. Waves after waves coming in and crashing on the rocks. Neither the rocks complained nor the waves relented.

As if it is a Never Ending Love.

Propped

Water Colour on paper 9.5" x 14"
Every year during the monsoon, warnings are issued to Fishermen in the coastal region. They should not risk their lives and go in the sea. Some days ago there was an article in the news paper with a foto of the last catch on the last day.
I hope all the boats are propped or being propped and covered and all the fishermen are safe.

Torrents

Water Colour on paper 9.5" x 14"
Completed this yesterday and had an amazing experience doing it.

Some years ago I had visited Velneshwar, a beautiful coastal town in Konkan. It was Holi season and many boats had lined up in the sea. It was a wonderful sight to see during the day, in the evening when the Sun was setting the silhouettes of the boats danced on the waves and in the night when the small lamps lit up on the boats...... it was divine.
I started working on this painting with the silhouettes of the boats, early evening, the Sun just setting and wonderful atmosphere. Slowly but surely the evening progressed and so did my painting.... The rain clouds appeared from no where. The Sun still hung around to witness the meeting of the sea and the clouds.
The clouds grew bigger and bigger and started coming closer .... as close as they could..... to meet the Sea. No longer could they hold and then the Torrents came down.
Torrents of emotion... Torrents of Love.... :-)

Seemed like I lived a whole Evening while painting the Torrents. Wow it was divine :-)

Tulshi Baug, Pune

In the heart of Pune City.... there is an old Temple complex called Tulshi Baug. There is an old Temple of Lord Ram and this painting is of a smaller Temple adjacent to the main temple.
There are many small shops around the Temple selling articles useful for Puja, Kitchen utensils, beautiful brass, bronze articles and many many more.
A unique place and a must visit location when in Pune

One day while sketching I found this spot near Nivara Ashram Pune. This actually is a Electricity board warehouse (probably) and also had transformers and what not in front of it. Obviously I had to remove it and see what happens to the landscape ;-)?
